Jennifer Frazier Bio

Jennifer Frazier was named McKinney ISD’s Director of Athletics in 2020, previously serving as both the Assistant Athletic Director and Associate Athletic Director.

She began her career in MISD in 2013 as the campus coordinator at Cockrill Middle School. Prior to McKinney ISD, Jennifer served as the head girls’ basketball coach at Lake Highlands High School, and as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball and softball teams at Abilene Christian University.

 

During her time as McKinney ISD Athletic Director, she has been honored as the 2022 THSADA Region III Athletic Administrator of the Year.  She currently serves on the THSADA state TAAC Committee and acts as District Executive Chair for 13-5A and 5-6A districts.  Under her leadership, she has launched the MISD Athletics Head Coach Academy, started 6th grade pre-athletics, added middle school soccer to all middle school campuses and played an instrumental role in securing the NCAA Div. II National Football Championship at MISD Stadium.

 

Jennifer is a native Texan and graduated from Plano East Senior High School.  She played collegiate basketball at Abilene Christian University where she was twice named Kodak All-American and National Player of the Year.  She has been inducted into several hall of honors, including Plano ISD Athletic Hall of Honor , the Lone Star Conference Hall of Honor, and Abilene Christian University Hall of Honor.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Abilene Christian University and her Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University.

 

Jennifer and her husband, Justin, have 3 sons, Zach (MNHS 2018) and his wife, Madison; Brandon (MNHS 2020), and Dylan (MNHS 2022).
