• MHS Lionettes beat Plano West in 3 sets 25-23, 25-23 and 25-21. D'Erricka Frierson led the Lionette's offense with 17 kills. Macey Winburn had 25 assists and 2 aces and Sophie Manson had 30 assists and 11 kills. Lunden Evans protected the court defensively with 19 digs followed by Caroline Swan with 15.
      • The Lady Broncs lost to Prosper in three straight sets Tuesday, August 18th with set scores of 21-25, 23-25, and 21-25.
      • The Varsity girls and boys teams both placed 1st out of 16 teams at the Raider XC Invitational in Wylie on Saturday. The girls were paced by top 10 finishes from Kate Leonard (1st), Jenna Leonard, Paige Maple, Arden Cravy, and Bella Evans. The boys were led by Teddy Radtke and Cameron Simpson who finished 3rd and 7th respectively. The JV teams won in dominant fashion. The JV girls team bested a field of 11 with 23 points. They were led by top 10 finishes from Mya Donohoe, Meghan Baker, Cassie Carey, Faith Talbott, Anna Kazachka, and Jayden Melton. The JV boys beat 13 other teams to claim first with 21 points. Top 10 finishers were: Jackson Angell (1st), JT Aguilera, Adam Tregoning, Preston Belt, Mauricio Gallegos, and David Borsellino
      • The McKinney North varsity girls team finished 3rd place overall and the varsity boys placed 9th at the Frisco ISD Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, August 25th.

      • DENISON, TX - The McKinney North Varsity Volleyball won their first match in district play against the Yellowjackets of Denison HS in three set (25-9, 25-14, 25-14),! making it 6 wins in a row for the Bulldogs! Senior setters Jordan Serafin and Ava Sawka served up a win for the Bulldogs with 16 and 13 assists, respectively. Senior Annie Larcom, sophomore Hallie Collett, and freshman Arrianna Fields led offense with 4, 6, and 4 kills, respectively. Senior outside hitter, Vivian Murphy, guarded the net with 4 blocks while senior libero Ashleigh Olsen completed the night with 19 digs. The Bulldogs will continue District 10-5A play at home on Friday, September 21st at 6:30PM against Princeton High School.
