McKinney Boyd Art Student Wins Congressional Art Exhibition

Nik Peacock, Digital AP Art student at McKinney Boyd HS was given an Honorable Mention for his 3rd District U.S. Congressional Art Contest entry April 27 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center reception with Congressman Sam Johnson. This year there were 83 student entries, from which 10 honorable mentions, one people’s choice award, and one winner were honored. The winning piece will hang in the US Capital in Washington D.C. for one year.   Congratulations Nik!
