Eddins Elementary Honor Choir invited to perform at TMEA 2019

MISD is proud of the Honor Choir at C. T. Eddins Elementary for their invitation to perform at the 2019 Texas Music Educators Association Conference in San Antonio Texas. The Eddins Honor Choir is lead by Music Specialist, Melissa Ringel. She has been with MISD since the fall of 2009 and her MISD Honor Choir groups have performed at TMEA in 2011, 2015 and also in 2006 and 2009 while teaching in Frisco ISD.

The Eddins Honor Choir Membership is open by audition to third, fourth and fifth grade students at Eddins Elementary. All rehearsals are held outside of the school day. This year’s Honor Choir is comprised of 58 students.

Thank you to the MISD Percussion Musicians from MHS & MBHS (Keaton H, Josee L. and Eli R.) and String Musicians from MBHS (Conner T, Uma R, Abigail P, Tanya G, Jack P, Justin C, and Michael B), and accompanist Beverly Garms  who will perform with the Honor Choir on February 14, 2019 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
