6th Grade Drama Club Meets Weekly At Dowell Middle School

Drama classes begin in 7th grade at the middle school level but 6th graders at Dowell Middle School can now enjoy a place in the limelight! Colin Wells, Drama Teacher at Dowell, has started a club for 6th graders to give them an opportunity to participate in theatre activities. Students meet every Wednesday morning to do warm-ups, play improv games, rehearse group scenes and more.  Over the winter, they will prepare monologues for their 7^th grade Advanced Drama auditions.  This spring, they will prepare auditions for “The Lion King Jr.”.
