TMEA All-Region Jazz Band

Congratulations to the following MISD jazz band students who competed for chairs in the TMEA All-Region Jazz Band auditions held at North HS on Wednesday, September 19^th: Eyoel A, 12^th grade-MNHS, Tenor Trombone-2^nd chair; Keith W, 12^th grade-MNHS, Bass Trombone-1^st chair; Jake D, 12^th grade-MBHS, Drum Set-1^st These three students will participate in recorded Area Auditions next Wednesday, September 26, which is the final round of auditions leading to placement in the TMEA All-State Jazz Band.

MNHS also had two students place as 1^st alternate to the band: Matt S, 11^th grade, Baritone Saxophone; and Matt D, 11^th grade, Tenor Trombone.
