MHS Artist wins Blue Ribbon At State Fair

Congratulations to McKinney High School Senior Rebekah L for earning a First Place Blue Ribbon with her “Chainsaw” artwork in this year’s State Fair of Texas Creative Arts Competition (Abstract Art Category).

Additionally, her “Pumpjacks” artwork received an Honorable Mention in the Oil Painting Category.

Rebekah is currently a student in AP Art 2D Design taught by Ms. Dondi Moran. Both pieces will be on display in the Creative Arts Building at the fair from September 28^th – October 21st.
